The Crystal Lake Preservation Association and it’s volunteers continued it’s vigilant effort to keep Eurasian milfoil from expanding in the lake. Over 12 bags of milfoil were removed during the season from the two main hotspots (the outlet and the southern end of the lake). The 2014 season was successful, yet the area nearby at Shadow Lake saw explosive growth of this aquatic nuisance. We need to continue our fight to keep this under control.
